I used to love writing in my blog several years ago, and had a few posts about my insights as an art educator working with children. A couple stories I wrote right after they happened, and unfortunately I didn’t save back ups so those stories were lost when I accidentally let my website lapse a few years ago during Covid. Trying to re-write those posts just isn’t the same, but I did learn so much from the experiences and by writing and reflecting on them afterwards. My hope is that this little space will eventually be full of stories about teaching art, working with children, and all the wonderful, messy, hard, fun, and sometimes confusing things that come along with being a teacher.
Art supply recommendations, project ideas to do at home with your kids, photos from classes and events, and the occasional worksheet or coloring page will also be shared here. Please let me know what you would like to see in this blog!
